I’m so pleased to share my poem, “On Domestic Life & Other Stories of Carnage,” inspired by a certain maker of mischief, which is now live in issue 48 of Neologism Poetry Journal! Thank you EIC Christopher Fields for selecting this piece and for being an absolute professional and pleasure to work with!
Again, that last line – so hauntingly perfect! Congrats, Stephanie!

Well, having had a cat who was a twin to yours, who gifted me with many bodies over 21 years, I can especially appreciate it LOL!

Absolutely love this! Especially the so-so-satisfied expression on her face. I suppose all that carnage exhausts (temporarily) calling for a nap (or … meditation on accomplishments?) My mental camera zoomed in on “bouquets strew(n) in brash arrays”.

Thanks so much, Jazz! Yes, there’s nothing like the sweetness of a cat recovering from a hard day’s work of exacting carnage… 🐾💖

Congratulations, Stephanie. I’ve seen antics like this many times over the years. The hunt never ends.
