My poems, “Brave,” “There is This,” “Anatomy of Hope,” and “Moon Cake” are now up in the winter 2019 edition of The High Window, a fantastic online journal hailing from the U.K.! Thank you to editor David Cooke for the incredible thrill and honor of hosting me as this issue’s Featured American Poet!
Congratulations, Stephanie – and Moon Cake is still my favourite of these four!

Thanks, Lynne! I remember “Moon Cake” made an impression on you when you did the blurb for the The Death’s-Head’s Testament! ❤️

Stephanie L. Harper is keeping pretty good company lately. The last American poet featured at The High Window was the 13th poet laureate of the U.S., Ted Kooser!

Impressive recognition – well deserved! You are gifted with ability to bring the reader right into not just your scene, but your emotional responses to the scene. “Anatomy of Hope” doesn’t want to let me loose … think I’ll go read that again (maybe several times.)

Such powerful poetry. Riveting in some cases. On a sweet note, I loved Moon Cake.
